Lodge rooms with a central self catering point:

 

The best self catering option for a group of couples or for those wanting more privacy:

We can offer bed only in our lodge rooms using beach cottages or the luxury tented rooms (there are no self catering facilities in the actual room itself) with one couple per room (each room has an en-suite), or with a couple and their children in a room, where we can give you offer you a central self catering point where your group can cook and prepare all their meals together and enjoy them together in your own private venue. 

We either offer the Islander or the Barn as the self catering point.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Self catering Units:

 

Garden Cottage - This unit has two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Sleeps up to 4 pax. It has a Lounge and a kitchen fully equipped and has its own braai facilities. We either set up a kingsize bed in each of the bedrooms or we can make up one room with 2 single beds and one with a kingsize beds, or both rooms with two single beds in each, depending on your needs. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

                                                           

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Lion's Den  - Situated above the small pool with a stunning view, this is a one bedroom open plan unit with one double bed and 3 single beds, and a kitchenette and bathroom. It is fully equipped but without a stove and oven, although there is a microwave and of course the braai.  It also has a lapa alongside for your lunch during the heat of the day. It can sleep up to 5 sharing.

Swimming pool - The Nutbush has it's own "beach" with a very large rock pool. Please note that this is a man-made beach and we do not have a sea. If we do not have other corporate groups booked into the lodge, using this facility on an exclusive basis, then this can be used by those self catering. Alternatively, you may use the small pool and lapa.

You may bring your quad or off road bikes along and use our track. If staying here, the rate is R 100.00 per adult rider and R 50.00 per child rider under 12 years.

 

We offer off-road dirt go-karting as well. 

 

Nearby attractions: Maropeng, Sterkfontein, Wondercaves, game reserves, candle dipping, horseriding, restaurants, etc.

 

We offer team builds on the property, but these must be booked in advance. Please enquire for a rate sheet. 

Alternatively, you may use the volleyball or croquet, or boules petanque at your own leisure. If there is any damage to any equipment, this will be charged for. Please advise when booking should you require to use any of the equipment.  

 

Cleaning - There is no cleaning services for the self catering.  Please bring your own bath and pool towels.
